We started with the new asymmetric “Launcher” core that is packed with impressive features. The Launcher core has both a flip block and our exclusive radial disc technology; these components move mass away from the centre, creating an increased imbalance for a stronger reaction throughout the lane. BLACK WIDOW GHOST The Black Widow, Hammer’s most successful line, is back at it, this time with a polished pearl that will get a ton of attention. The Scorpion has been an excellent release for Hammer and continues to do well in the market; bowlers love the amount of hook they get from a mid-performance ball. The new Scorpion Sting complements the original Scorpion, giving bowlers a shiny mid-performance ball to go to when the oil starts to go away, and stronger balls are too much. We didn’t go the traditional route and only update the cover to extend the series; we also modified the core to increase the RG and differential to ensure the Scorpion Sting has a more continuous backend. The Symtex Pearl cover with high gloss provides great length and a strong change of direction; the core and cover combination makes this ball excellent on medium conditions. Just like the original, the Scorpion Sting offers a lot of performance for the money, and let’s not forget that looks matter, and this one looks fantastic too!
Black Widow Urethane Pink Pearl
The Pink Pearl was extremely popular as a reactive Black Widow, and we expect it to kill since it now uses the Purple Pearl Urethane cover formulation. The Black Widow core makes it an excellent choice for bowlers who didn’t see enough hook from the Purple Pearl Urethane. Also just like the Purple, every competitive bowler will have to have this ball in their arsenal.
This is the 25th anniversary of the 3-D Offset, and we are excited to pay tribute to one of the greatest balls ever. The 3-D Offset offered new technology and outstanding performance. Hammer Dark Web Bowling Ball The Web series of balls has been another popular nameplate for Hammer, and they have all complimented the Black Widows very well. We have engineered multiple cores for Webs over time to target different reactions, and the Dark Web uses a newly enhanced version of the Spheroid core. The Modified Spheroid has a flip block added to the top of the body of the core to help increase overall motion. The modification raises the RG while leaving the differential the same. The change allowed us to use an aggressive cover and finish and now gives Hammer a big-solid symmetric ball that Hammer fans will love. Available in Store from 16/07/2022
